At a court held and continuned for Westmoreland County 26 April 1786:  Ordered 
that it be certified to his Excellency the Governor that Ann Owen and Richard 
Murray are the only pensioners in this County and that they are proper objects 
to be continued on the list of pensioners.  Copy teste: Richard Parker C L C



     I do with the advice of Council hereby certify that Ann Owen, widow of 
Thomas Owen, late a private in the 1st Regiment of Artillery and who died in the 
service of the United States is entitled to the sum of twelve pounds yearly to 
commence from the first day of January 1786.  Given under my hand as Lieutenant 
Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia/ the Governor being absent/ at 
Richmond, this 15th day of June 1787.
