Mr. and Mrs. James Kendall Ball, of Irvington, announce the engagement of
their daughter, Miss Jenny Kendall Ball to Charles Buford Smith, of
Darlington, S. C., publisher of the Arlington Herald. Miss Ball is a
descendant of Mary Ball, the mother of Washington.
