I Thomas Bell of the parish of Cople and County of Westmoreland being sick and weak but of perfect sence doth make my last will and testament in manner following. Item I give and bequeath to my loving wife Johanah Bell the use of my land all my personal Estate for and during her natural life. Item I give and bequeath to my son Thomas Bell after the decease of my loving wife my dwelling House with half my land adjoining thereto and half my personal estate to him and his heirs forever. Item I give and bequeath to my son Joseph Bell the new house he has built with half my land nearest there adjoining and the other half of my personal estate to him and his heirs forever. And I do hereby nominate and appoint my son Thomas Bell hole and sole Exor. of this my last will and testament and I do hereby revoke all other will and wills heretofore by one maid. As witness hereto I set my hand and fix my seal this 19th day of August one thousand seven hundred and forty two. Thomas (his X mark) Bell, Seal Signed sealed and delivered in presents of Phillis P. Moeky her mark, Bette Gording her mark, Peter Rust Westmoreland Co. At a Court held for the said County the 25th day of April 1749. This last will and testament of Thomas Bell, Decd was presented into Court by Thomas Bell his Exor. therein named who made oath thereto and being firmed by the Oaths of Peter Rust & Betty Gordon two of the witnesses thereto is admitted to record and upon mocon of the said Exor.
