Inst(?; t superscript) who lay ill but in sound & disposing sence, and memory. And that he called on them to Take notice that it was his Will, and desire, that in case of his Death, that his Sister Ann Carpenter should have his Estate sold, and his just Debts paid, and what ever might remain he gave to his said Sister Ann. And further that he said Carpenter died about 2 [O superscript] Clock in the Evening of the next day as near as They could guess. And further sayeth not. Thomas Collinsworth Sarah x Williams The above Sworn to 10 O [superscript] Clock 24th March 1773 before John Augt (?) Washington At a Court (next word?) and held for Westmoreland Coun- ty the 31st day of March 1773. This Writing proporting (?) the Noncupative Will of William Carpenter, decd was proved according to Law by the Oaths of Thomas Collinsworth and Sarah Wiliams the Witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorde d And on the motion of Thomas Blaire who made oath these- (?) according to Law, and together with Thomas Fisher his Secu- ity entered into and Acknowledged Bind with Condition as the Law directs, Certificate is granted him for obtaining Let ters of Administration of the Estate of the said Decedent with the said Will annexed (?) in due forum (?)
