BARLOW of the City of Williamsburg and Celestia BUCKTROUT of Williamsburg. This Deed made this 25th day of December 1866 between Edward BOYLE and Matilda his wife of the City of Richmond and Harriett A. BARLOW of the City of Williamsburg of the first part and Celestia BUCKTROUT of the said last named City of the second part. Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Six hundred dollars (two hundred dollars of which is hereby acknowledged to be paid cash and the balance of the said purchase money to be paid in instalments as follows to wit. One hundred dollars in two months to Wit. One hundred dollars in two months from the Sealing and delivery of these presents and the balance to be paid on the ____(space left empty) day of _________(space left empty) 1867 for the payment of which said instalments bonds are to be executed for the respective sums bearing even date with these presents.) have granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto the said party of the second part. That certain lot of land with the buildings thereon in the City of Williamsburg formerly the property of Wilson C. DURFEY and afterwards conveyed by the said DURFEY and Sarah Jane his wife to Matilda DURFEY (now Matilda BOYLE) and Harriett A. DURFEY (now Harriett A. BARLOW) by and dated the 30th day of April 1856 Which said lot is bounded as follows Viz On the South by the lot of Samuel W. BOWMAN and extending on the South line one hundred and eighteen feet commencing at the southeast corner of the lot hereby conveyed on the street leading by the College gate. On the west by the lot of said BOWMAN and running (?) on that line One hundred and forty two feet and thence East one hundred and twenty five feet to the street above mentioned. Thence South along the said street one hundred and forty six feet to the first point designated in the boundary together with all and singular the right and appurtenances thereunto belonging And the said parties of the first part do covenant with the said party of the second part to warrant generally the property hereby conveyed.
