LANE, 42, DIES AT HIS HOME Levin Winder Lane III, died Monday September 24, 1934, at his home in Williamsburg after an illness of several years. Mr. Lane, who was 42 years old, was the oldest son of the late Col Levin Winder and Lizzie Jordan Lane, and was well known in this county, being a grandson of the late Dr. George H. Jordan of Isle of Wight. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lee Atkinson Lane and a son Levin Winder Lane IV; two brothers George Jordan Lane and James [...] sisters, Mrs. Ashton Dovel and Mrs. Vernon M. Geddy of Williamsburg and [Mrs.] W.K. Close of Atlanta, Ga. and an aunt Mrs. John I. Cofer of Smithfield. Funeral services will he held at Bruton Parish Church in Williamsburg Wednesday morning at eleven o'clock.
