Bernice Pedneau

    COEBURN -- Bernice "Bernie" Johnson Pedneau, 75, died Thursday, Nov. 21, 
2002, at St. Mary's Hospital in Norton.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Ethel L. Rose 
Johnson.
    Survivors include her husband, William "Bill" Pedneau; two daughters, 
Susan Powers of Norton and Elizabeth Odle of Newark, Del.; one son, Michael 
Pedneau of Richmond, Ky.; one sister, Lois Bailey of Abingdon; six 
grandchildren; and one niece.
    Visitation will be held at Estes Funeral Home Saturday, Nov. 23, 2002, 
after 6 p.m., where funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. in Estes 
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rose Mincey officiating. Burial will be at 
2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002, in Greenwood Memoral Gardens in Coeburn.
