She had lived most of her life in Imboden, was a homemaker and was of the Methodist faith. Surviving are her husband, Lawrence "Bus" Collier of the home; sons, Glen and daughter-in-law, Carroll Collier, Hopewell, Va.,. Danny and daughter-in-law, Pat Collier, Elgin, S.C., Wayne and daughter-in-law, Barbara Collier, Big Stone Gap, Va., and Jackie and daughter-in-law, Maria Collier, Richmond; daughters, Barbara and son-in-law, Jack Harkleroad, Big Stone Gap, Phyllis and son-in-law, Earl Barnett, Bristol Virginia, and Louise and son-in-law, Herbert Dotson, Imboden; sister, Loraine Courtney, Kingsport; half-brother, Gerald Miller, Duffield, Va.; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Lady Collier; and a brother, Denver Joe Miller. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Gilliam Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, 2003, at Gilliam Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Nunley officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Graveside services will be Friday, Feb. 21, at 11 a.m. at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens. Family and friends are asked to assemble at Gilliam Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. to go in procession to the cemetery. Gilliam Funeral Home of Big Stone Gap is in charge of arrangements.
