Culbertson WYLIE, Texas -- Imogene Elaine Powers Culbertson, born Aug. 8, 1924, died peacefully at her home Dec. 30, 2002, in Wylie. Mrs. Culbertson was married Aug. 17, 1946, to Lee Edwin Culbertson who preceded her in death on Dec. 17, 1972. Her parents , Duncan A. and Ettie B. Skeins Culbertson also preceded her in death. She was a loving mother, mother-in-law, sister, grandmother and friend to all she met. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Robert Culbertson and Lorraine Culbertson, Wylie; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and J.R. Williams, Rosedale, Va.; sisters, Ruth Culbertson, Doran, Va., and Mary Ann Keen, Grundy; grandchildren, Randy and Kim Bradshaw, Glen Allen, Va., Tressa Culbertson, Dallas, Kenneth and Kelli Beaman, San Antonio, Texas, Crystal and Todd Karns and Samantha and Kert Dudek, McKinney, Texas; great-grandchildren, Ashley Beaman, San Antonio, Trinity Dudek, McKinney and Anthony Karns; and several nephews and nieces. Graveside services and burial will be held Friday, Jan. 3, 2003, at 2 p.m. at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Norton with Rev. Bud Culbertson officiating. The family requests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Vista Hospice Foundation, 1140 Empire Central, Suite 235, Dallas, TX 75247.
