Jessee COEBURN -- Edna L. Bright Jessee, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday at 9:32 p.m., Nov. 27, 2002, surrounded by members of her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel (Scott) Jessee; and her parents, Ingle H. and Augusta (Gussie) L. Marshall Bright. Survivors include: two brothers, Gordon R. Bright of Coeburn and Bobby S. Bright of Mt. Sydney, Va.; three sisters, Jo LaCounte of Reno, Nev., Linda B. Koff of Albany, N.Y., and Sharon B. Holub of Loudonville, N.Y.; three brothers-in-law, Col. Greg J. Brown of Charlotte, N.C., Howard M. Koff of Albany and Richard Holub of Loudonville; four sisters-in-law, Virginia Bright of Coeburn, Blanche Bright of Coeburn, Janie Bright of Mt. Sidney and Marie Bright of Westmoreland, Maine; six grandchildren, Lisa Wilhelm, Sarah Holub, Michael Koff, Scott Holub, Rebecca Holub and Bobby Holub; two great- grandchildren, Paige DeWitt and Dominic Schrom; six nephews, Robert Bright of Coeburn, Jerry Bright of Ft. Myers, Fla., P.W. Oliver III of Old Fort, N.C., Bradley Bright of Staunton, Va., Joseph Scott Bright of Coeburn and James Bright of Gorham, Maine; four nieces, Jo Sharon Kovatch of Daytona Beach, Fla., Lisa Gene LaCounte Pang of Reno, Patricia Marie Youland of West Brook, Maine, and Sonia Michelle Cooper of Virginia Beach, Va.; and three aunts, Flora Bright of Kingsport, Jettie Marshall of Coeburn and Lil Marshall of Tazewell, Va. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death two brothers, Claude "Pistol" Bright and Arthur Bright; two sisters, June Brown and Hazel Oliver; and friend, Helen Harmon. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002, at 2 p.m. at Coeburn United Methodist Church with Rev. Rose Mincey officiating. Burial will follow in the Gouge Cemetery on Caney Ridge in Coeburn. Visitation will be held at Estes Funeral Home on Friday after 6 p.m.
