Legg BIG STONE GAP, Va. -- James G. "Enoch" Legg, 76, died Wednesday, March 19, 2003, at Wellmont-Lonesome Pine Hospital. Born in Keokee, Va., he was the son of the late James K. and Bertha M. (Parsons) Legge. He also lived in Bristol Tennessee, Appalachia, Va., and Big Stone Gap. He was a taxi cab driver and also worked in sawmills. He attended West End Baptist Church in Big Stone Gap. Surviving are his wife, Lois A. Legg; two stepsons, David F. Hilliard Jr. and Jesse A. Hilliard, both of Bristol Tennessee; two step-grandchildren; five sisters, Polly Collier of Big Stone Gap, Sue Denton of Bristol Tennessee, Betty Green of Fayetteville, N.C., Thelma Taylor of Bristol Tennessee, and Phyllis Johnson of Berea, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends noon - 2 p.m. Saturday at West End Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. at the church with Pastor Pat Rasnake officiating. Burial will follow in Powell Valley Memorial Gardens. Holding Funeral Home is in charge.
