She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel Privett; husband, Kyle Mullins; her brother, Gary Dowe Privett; and her sister, Leona Feldman. She was an active member in the Jenkins Christian Church. Surviving are daughters, Janice Powers, Pound, and Lecia Gholson, Pound; sons, Gary Mullins, Mt. Juliet, Tenn., Jeffery Mullins, Pound, Richard Mullins, Pound, and David Mullins, Pound; sisters, Nina Lagnes, Wise, and Margaret Meade, Pound; brother, Ronald Privett, Coeburn; mother, Edna Tompkins Privett, Wise; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Services 11 a.m. Monday in Sadie Baker Memorial Chapel of Baker Funeral Home, Pound, with Rev. Randy Carter and Rev. Troy Belcher officiating. Interment will be in Kyle Mullins Family Cemetery, Pound. Pallbearers will be D.B. Mullins, Randy K. Powers, Randall Mullins, D.K. Mullins, Shane Jeffery Mullins, G.L. Mullins II, Cobly Gholson, Billy Ballard and Adam Mullins. Family will receive friends 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Baker Funeral Home, Pound, with a song service at 7 p.m. Baker Funeral Home, Pound, is entrusted with the care of Marie Mullins.
