Earle B. Mullins

    NORTON -- Earle B. Mullins, 89, died Monday, Dec. 9, 2002, at Norton 
Community Hospital.
    He was a retired teacher and basketball coach with the Wise County School 
System.
    Prior to his teaching career, he worked with the Internal Revenue Service 
and in later years as a tax preparer. He was a member of the Norton United 
Methodist Church and was a Sunday School teacher there for many years. He was 
preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Elizabeth Fuller Mullins.
    Surviving: wife, Nina Mullins: son, Steve Mullins and his wife, Anna; 
brother, Ray Mullins; and several nieces, nephews and care givers.
    Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the Hagy & Fawbush 
Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Amy Cook-Alcorn officiating. Burial will 
be in the Highland Cemetery in Norton. The family will receive friends from 
6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Mullins family is being served by 
Hagy & Fawbush Funeral Home of Norton.
