Phyllis H. Richards

NORTON -- Phyllis Jean Hagy Richards, 67, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2003, at Norton 
Community Hospital. She was born to the late Hubert E. and Bertha McClure Hagy 
and was preceded in death by a son, Ron Richards Sr.; and sister, El Dean Lowry. 
She was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church in Norton. 

She is survived by her husband, Russell M. Richards; daughters, Sherry L. Baker, 
Wise, Rinda J. Begley, Norton, and Tammy Richards Canada, Phoenix, Ariz.; a son, 
John R. Richards, Atlanta; a sister, El Wina Harness, Shawnee, Okla.; and 
brothers, Joe E. Hagy, Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mike R. Hagy, Frederick, Okla. 
Also surviving are a sister-in-law, Beth Odom, Atlanta; 10 grandchildren; and 
two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hagy & Fawbush 
Funeral Home in Norton. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the 
funeral home chapel with the Rev. Ben Murphy officiating. Burial will be in the 
Powell Valley Memorial Gardens. The Richards family is served by Hagy & Fawbush 
Funeral Home of Norton.

    NORTON -- Funeral services for Phyllis Jean Hagy Richards will be at 11 a.m. 
Thursday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Ben Murphy officiating. Burial 
will be in the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens.
    Mrs. Richards, 67, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2003, at Norton Community Hospital. 
    The Richards family is served by Hagy & Fawbush Funeral Home of Norton.
