Robinette NORTON -- Chester A. Robinette, 80, died Thursday, 21, 2002, in Norton Community Hospital. He was a retired coal miner and member of United Mine Workers of America. He attended West Norton Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 40 years, Ruby Baldwin Robinette; brother Arthur Robinette; sisters Mabel Scott and Gustavia Robinette; and an infant daughter, Priscilla Robinette. He is survived by wife, Frankie Robinette of Norton; sons Edward and his wife, Sharon Robinette, of Trenton, Mich., Roger Robinette of Lincoln Park, Mich., and Everett Robinette of West Land, Mich.; daughters Glenna and her husband, Cecil Mullins, of Wise, Deborah and her husband, Beldon Fleming, of Big Stone Gap, Iris Stallard of Charleston, S.C., and Gwen Hobbs of Kingsport; brothers Emory Robinette, Cecil D. Robinette and Robert Robinette, all of Norton; sisters Frances Powers and Sandra Lawson, both of Norton; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hagy & Fawbush Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Glenn Ritchie and Rev. Frances McCoy officiating. Burial will be in Powell Valley Memorial Gardens.
