Salyers COEBURN -- Funeral services for Romeada Hale Salyers will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday from Rugsby Freewill Baptist Church with Ministers Wayne Keith, Robert Phipps and John Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Rugsby Chapel Cemetery, Route 2, Coeburn. The family will receive friends after 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with a service to follow at 7 p.m. Grandsons and grandsons-in-law will serve as pallbearers. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to services. Mrs. Salyers, 78, died at Wellmont Lonesome Pine Hospital on Monday, March 17, 2003, after a lengthy illness.
