McConnell. Both parties were 21.

John Russell and Jalia Stallard on Jan.7, 1870 by MS Roberson.His parents were
Absolum and Polly Russell, he was born in Russell co, va and is 22 years
old.Her parents are Duncan and Jalia  Stallard, she was born in Scott Co. Va,
she is 21 years old.They were married at Duncan Stallards dwelling places.
John's occupation is a farmer.

Christopher Columbus Bennett(Lum) and Lakey Virginia Russell on Oct. 23,1903
by George A. Hutchinson minister of the ME church.His parents are Spencer and
Dicy Mullens Bennett he was born in Wise County,he is 19 and a farmer by
trade. Her parents are Jacob Russell and Martha Ann Davis Russell. She is 17
and was born in Wise County, Va.

Floyd Nash and Maggie Bennett on April 2, 1903 by JW Green minister of
Freewill Baptist church, at the home of Spencer Bennett. His parents were WH
and Lousia Nash. He was 20, and a farmer. Her parents are Spencer and Dicy
Mullens Bennett.She is 18, both born Wise County,Va.

Lindsay A.Roberson and Sarah J. Bennett on Oct. 10,1889 or Sept. 11,1889(2
different dates written in by minister)Clerk gave them license on Oct. 7,
1889.by MS Roberson at the dwelling of Spencer Bennett.His parents are William
and Anna Roberson and her parents are Spencer and Dicy(license says Lissy)
Bennett.He is 19 and she is 15.

W.C. Bennett and Lora Qualls on June 2, 1929 by CA Johnson at Blackwood,Va.
His parents are Green Bennett and Jane (Noteuberry?)Her parents are Martin
Wells and Mary Qualls.Both parties born at Big Stone Gap, Wise County, Va. His
occupation is a miner.He is 37 and a widow. She is 38 and divorced.

Landon Bennett and Elenor Hall on Feb. 19, 1875. His parents are John and
Susannah Tifton, he was born in North Carolina and is 21, a farmer by trade.
Her parents are Daniel and Lucinda Hall.She was born Wise County, Va. and is
17.

Alexander Russell and Nancy Ellen Davis on Jan. 24, 1878 by William P.Page
minister,at the swelling of Jessie Davis.His parents are Absolum and Polly
Russell.He is 22.Her parents are Jessie and Polly Davis.she is 17, both born
Wise County, Va.

co. Va.His parents are Jacob and Annie Russell.He is 20 and born in Wise Co.
Va.Her parents are J.? and Thursey J. Dotson. She is 16 and born in Wise co.
Va.

Thomas Griffin and Ada Bennett on Aug. 3rd 1903 by DM Austin atthe hom of E.K.
Bennett at  Big Stone Gap, Wise co. Va.His parents are Thomas and ? Griffin.He
is 18 and born Wise co.,Va. Her parents are ? and Julia Bennett.She is 17 and
born Wise co. Va.

Jacob Russell and Martha Ann Davis on Oct. 2nd 1873 by ? Powers at the home of
Jesse Davis. His parents are Absolum and Mary Russell.He is 23 abnd born in
Russell County, Va. Her parents are Jessee and Mary Hillman Davis. She is 17
and born in Russell County, Va.

William Russell and Martha jane Powers on August 24, 1885 by MS Roberson at
the home of Preston Powers in Wise County, Va. His parents are Absolum and ?
Russell (from my family tree; probably Mary Nancy Yates Russell) He was born
Wise County,Va. lives in Webster County, Wva.He is 24 and a farmer. Her
parents are John M and Margaret Powers and she is 16 and is living in Wise
county, Va.
