Roanoke Beacon Newspaper (Plymouth, NC)
Senah HOUNSHELL, a colored woman, and two younger brothers, in walking from 
Wytheville, Va., to Cripple Creek, stopped under a tree to avoid a passing 
shower.  While there they were struck by lightening, and the woman was 
instantly killed, and the two boys so badly injured that they will die.
