Repass RURAL RETREAT -- Joshua Allen Repass, 22, died Saturday morning, Dec. 14, 2002, as the result of a motor vehicle accident. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Palmer and Elsie Repass. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Melody and Joe Matney; his father and stepmother, Tommie and Aralene Repass, and one sister, Sara Grace Repass, all of Rural Retreat; maternal grandparents, Charles and Barbara Gregory of Marion; maternal great-grandmother, Grace Brewster of Chilhowie; two stepbrothers, Joe Matney of Speedwell, Va., and Seth Matney of Rural Retreat; two stepsisters, Selena Charles of Salem, Va., Misty Matney of Rural Retreat; great-aunt, Clara Huffman of Rural Retreat; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive. Funeral services will be held 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, 2002, at the Lindsey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roger Crigger officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home prior to the service. Private committal services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery in Rural Retreat. Lindsey Funeral Home, Rural Retreat, is in charge of arrangements.
