Farley/Helvey Marriage License, 1853

VIRGINIA, WYTHE COUNTY, TO WIT:
These are to LICENSE and permit you to join in the
HOLY STATE OF MATRIMONY,
John W. Farley and Elizabeth N. Helvey
of Wythe County, according to the forms and customs of the Church to which 
you belong, and for so doing this will be your sufficient WARRANT. Given 
under my hand as Clerk of the County Court of Wythe, at the Court-house, the
10th day of October, 1853.
To any Minister of the Gospel legally authorized to celebrate the Rites of 
Matrimony.
