Goodrich vs Goodall Chancery suit in York County, Virginia, Circa 1782 Will of Alexander Walker of James City, County, Va Dated 29/12/1781 Died 1/1/1782 Leg: All my estate to be sold after my death and money arising from sale to be equally divided among and between my loving wife and her four children (all not named) and Keturah Stone. Exor: William Stone NOTE: This suit states Keturah Stone was married to Ashwell Stone. Sometime after 1782 Ashwell Stone dies, and his wife Keturah remarries John Goodrich (before 1788). Also William Stone dies and John Goodall becomes executor of his estate. This suit is over whither Alexander Walker's estate was settled and whither Keturah Stone's husband Ashwell received his wife's share of Walker's estate. Also please note later in suit it said "Alexander Walker's four children not his wife's four children". By 1788 Ashwell Stone, William Stone, and Keturah Stone Goodrich are all deceased.
