To all Christian People to whom these presents shall come  Greeting ~ 
Know Ye  That I Elizabeth BELL of Yorkhampton parish in the County of York and Colony of 
Virginia Widow for and in Consideration of the Natural Love and Affection which I have & do 
bear unto my Daughters Mary & Margaret BELL late of the said County and of the said Colony 
Spinsters And for divers other good Causes and Considerations me hereunto Moving 
Have given granted and by these presents do freely Clearly and absolutely give & grant unto my 
said Daughter Mary and Margaret their heirs Extors & Admors the following Goods that is to say 
To my Daughter Mary BELL as afores.d one Feather Bed & Furniture compleat Value four pounds 
Curr.t mony one Cow & Calf Value one pound Six Shillings two large pewter dishes and a Pewter 
Bason a two Year old heiffer and a Gold ring Value one pistole or one pound one Shilling & 
eight pence. 
Unto my Daughter Margaret BELL as afores.d one Feather Bed & Furniture Compleat Value four 
pounds Curr.t mony one Cow & Calf Value one pound Six Shillings two large pewter dishes and a 
Pewter Bason a Small horse Colt and a Gold Ring Value one pistole or one pounds one Shilling & 
eight pence 
To have & to hold the said Goods and Chattels to them the said Mary & Margaret BELL their heirs 
Extors or assigns from thence forth as their own proper Goods & Chattels absolutely without any 
other manner of Condition. 
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & Seal this 19.th day of May and in the Year of 
the Lord 1740.
