York Co., VA - Samuel Tinson Will, 1694/5 Page 159 [From records in Richmond Virginia Library] WILL OF SAMUEL TIMSON OF BURTON PARISH IN YORKE COUNTY, being weak in body, DATED 8 JAN. 1694/5. Unto my two sonns Willm. and Samuel Timson all that tract of land whereon I now live commonly call'd Valx plantation, to be equally devided, my son William to have the manner house and plantation into his halfe and my son Samil. the plantation whereon Robert Hickman now lives into his halfe. If either shall dye before they come to age or without issue to my daughter Mary Timson. Unto my son John Timson 200 acres whereon I lately lived on the Mill Swamp, to be laid out on that side next the mill. In case hee should dye under age or without issue to my daughter Mary Timson. The remainder of my land on the mill swamp whereon I lately lived, being 200 acres, after my sonn John's 200 acres is laid out, be sould by my executors for the bennefitt of my children. My sonn John Timson be kept att the free schoole and colledge and the charge thereof be maintained by my whole estate. My loving wife Mary Timson and unkle Thomas Barbar executors. Samll.
