LT. COLONEL EDWARD FIFIELD.
of Wheelock, Caledonia County, Vermont.  Served on northern frontier from Sept. 18,
1812 to March 17, 1813 as Lieutenant Colonel Commandant of 2nd Regt. Detached
Militia in U.S. service.
