James WATSON or James WATSON, Jr. of Danville, Caledonia County, Vt., served in
Capt. Morrill's Company, Col. Fifield's Regt. detached militia in U.S. service 3
months and 22 days, 1812. 

Also served in Capt. Haig's Corps of Light Dragoons; on Payroll to June 30, 1813."
[My note: Part of the Regiment of U.S. Light Dragoons served in the state of New
York.]
