Clark, Research Publication Company, Burlington And Boston, 1904, P.17 And P. 18. Hutchins, Betsey, Aged 84, Jericho, widow of Eleazer Hutchins, surgeon in Col. George Tyler's Regiment, Vermont Militia. He was drafted at Jericho, October 1, 1812, and discharged at Burlington, October 17. He volunteered at Jericho, September 7, 1814, for the defence (sic) of Plattsburgh, and was discharged at Burlington September 18. He was married to Betsey Hollenbeck at Jericho, in August, 1790, by Samuel Darrow, J.P., and died February 11, 1833. Application made May 28, 1856, granted 160 acres of land. Witnesses, David and Betsey L. Fish, of Jericho, Luther Prouty, John Benham, Harvey Field, and Justice Hosea Spaulding.
