DEATH OF MRS. SAMUEL WEDGE
Mrs. Samuel Wedge, who had been confined to the bed for three weeks, from 
Brights disease, died at the Fanny Allen hospital Sunday, having been taken 
there last Wednesday for treatment.  The funeral was held at the home of her 
sister, Mrs. W.W. Griswold Tuesday afternoon, Rev. George E. Goodliffe of the 
Congregational Church officiating.  The bearers were her brothers, Charles 
Tillotson, Hollis Tillotson, Aaron Tillotson, and brother-in-law, W.W. 
Griswold.  Burial was in Pleasant View Cemetery.  Mrs. Ida Wedge was one of 
eight children born to Jerome and Lorinda Tillotson at Bakersfield 55 years ago 
last March.  She was united in marriage to Samuel Wedge, moving here from 
Lowell several years ago.  Besides her brothers and sisters, she is survived by 
her husband and adopted son.  Mrs. Wedge was a hard working woman and was 
highly respected by all who knew her.  Deep sympathy is extended the family in 
their bereavement.
