Norwich, June 9, 1781... Pay Table Office, Bennington, June 22, 1781... June 23, 1781. Received of Ira Allen, Treasurer, the contents of this order. Elkanah Sprague. ============================================== [52] A Payroll for that part of Capt. Joshua Hazen's Company in Col. Woods's Regiment that marcht [sic.] with Lieut. William Bramble to Dresden in the alarm at Newbury when Col. Thomas Johnson was carried away captive.
