Whereas it appears that Daniel Marsh of Clarendon in the winter of 1786 went from
Clarendon to Montreal in Canada with his slay [sic.] and horses, and carried a load
of baggage and provisions for the troops that went to Canada in said winter:
Resolved, that the Treasurer...issue a hard money order for the sumer of nine pounds
twelve shillings lawful money, payable to the said Daniel Marsh. <excerpt>

My note: Also, Privates Abel MARSH, Roger MARSH, and Joseph MARSH, Jr. served in
both of the above companies while Joseph MARSH, another Abel MARSH and John MARSH
served in the above first listed company only.
