CARTER, ABEL, 1st Sergeant.
Residence: Williamstown, Orange County, Vt.
Took part in the Battle of Plattsburgh, N.Y., Sept. 11, 1814 and served 8 days in
Capt. David Robinson's Company. Ref: Book 52, AGO Pages 2 and 9.
