HILL, JOSEPH, Corporal. 
Served as Corporal in 
Capt. Noyce's Company, Col. Jonathan Williams' Regt. Detached Militia in U.S.
service 2 months and 6 days, 1812. Also, served as private in Sumner's Regt. Vt.
Militia.

One of his descendant wrote that he was from Tunbridge, Orange Co., VT.
