Additional Comments: Seeking to prove soldier, James POWERS, data listed below, is my 3 great grand uncle, born abt. 1793, son of William and Anna BURTCH POWERS, who married Anna PHELPS in 1814 in Woodstock, Windsor Co., VT, and he died Sept. 1857.
