Massachusetts.

Milton POWERS, son of Jonathan and Elizabeth DALY POWERS, was born 18 Feb. 1831 in
Orange, Orange Co., VT; enlisted in the CIVIL WAR in MA;  died 14 Jan. 1899 in
Halifax, Windham, VT; and is buried in Whitingham, Windham, VT.  

Ellen Desiah MOWRY, daughter of Lucius Potter and Desire KENYON MOWRY, was born 17
May 1838 in Leyden, Franklin, MA, and died 18 May 1910 in Whitingham, Windham, VT.
Mr. and Mrs. Milton POWERS were my maternal 2 great grandparents.  They had 2
children: Martha A. POWERS [1865-1936] and Avery POWERS b. 1874.
