The 1906 West Derby [today Newport] Directory lists the following: Herbert C. Blake,
butcher, Mrs. Bessie, Hazel E., Doris L., Zenas C., 38 Maple Street.  

Listed in the 1906 Newport Directory were Zenas Blake, engineer, Addie, 9 Summer
Street, and Mrs. Sophronia Blake, 4 Third Street.  

The Blake family was well known for energy, honesty, and fairness in all business
conducted and was a popular family.
