Nelson, Vol. II, ©1978, Page 129 "James SIAS, the first son of Jane and Charles SIAS, Sr., was born May 18, 1778, in Loudon, New Hampshire, and died on March 23, 1865, in Derby Vermont. He married Patience DWIER on April 18, 1803, at Derby, Vermont, and they had two children, Lucius, who married, was living in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1863, had a daughter, May; Nancy, born January 27, 1805, died November 3, 1861, and is buried in Edson Cemetery, Lowell, Massachusetts. She married David (or Daniel) TAYLOR, in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, where he was in the lumber business. He was killed by a falling tree and was buried there. The family then moved to Lowell, Massachusetts. James SIAS's wife, Patience DWIER SIAS, died in 1812 on their trip to the west at Mill Creek, Huntington, Pennsylvania. She was a descendant of a Mayflower passenger. [I have more information if you need it]. James SIAS remaried to Sophia CORBIN, daughter of Benjamin CORBIN, from either Westminster County, Maryland, or Huntington County, Pennsylvania, and they had a son, James William SIAS, born about 1816."
