Joshua CHURCH of Derby, [Orleans Co., VT] enlisted Sept. 18, 1862, mustered into
15th Regt., Co. H, Oct. 22, 1862 and mustered out Aug. 5, 1863.

Military engagements of Union 
Soldier, Joshua CHURCH, during the Civil War: at Fairfax Court House, Va. (Repulse
of Stuart's Raid), Dec. 28, 1862. Catlett's Station, Va. (Lt. Hartshorn and train
guard), May 30, 1863, and 
Gettysburg, Pa., July 1, 2 and 3, 1863.
