Orleans County Monitor [Barton, VT] dated June 10, 1901, page 4
Mrs. Philena Hadlock Walker died on Monday, June 3rd of Bright's Disease, at the
residence of her daughter. Mrs. Helen Page, at Jamacia Plains, Mass. Mrs. Walker
lived in Barton for over forty years and had many friends here. Her body was brought
here and the funeral was held at E.N. Randall's last Wednesday, Rev. W.C. Johnson
officiating. Her age was sixty-seven years and ten months.
