John W. BARROWS, Jr. of Mendon, Rutland County, VT, served in 5th Regt., Co. G.  He
was taken prisoner June 26, 1862 at Battle of Golding's Farm, Virginia [VA], and
again he was taken prisoner June 28, 1863, in either Virginia or PA just before the
Battle of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
