Goodman of Hillsboro, N.D., is a guest this week of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Angevine. -Dr. and Mrs. H. W. Holden, who had been visiting friends at Randolph a short time, have returned home. -Rev. Andrew J. Hutchinson, a graduate of T. C. A., now of Clarksville, N.Y., is visiting friends in town this week. -John McDonough, clerk at Hotel Poultney, was called to his home in Granville this week by the death of his mother. -Miss Lena Pray who has been sick a short time, has returned to her post at the depot as operator. During her absence her place was very acceptably filled by Miss Ethel Murphy. -Mrs. J.W. Derby has been confined to her bed for some time, suffering with some trouble about the knee. Her condition has been quite serious, but she is now improving. -James Duer of Hoboken, N.J. is a guest this week of Mrs. F.S. Platt and family. -Jesse B. Mills, who has been in the Catskills during the summer months, has returned home. -W. H. Terrill, who had been spending several weeks here with friends, returned to his home in Chicago, Ill., Tuesday. -Mrs. K.R. Haas and daughter, Miss Jennie Haas, who had been spending several weeks with friends at East Palestine, Ohio, returned home last week.
