LOCALS. ** -Aldis D. L. Ross has gone to Albany, N.Y., to visit relatives for a few days. ** -Mrs. George T. Chaffee, who has been ill at her home on Main street, is better. ** -Miss Phoebe Graham of Mineral street is visiting friends at Hoosick Falls, N.Y. ** -Mrs. Samuel H. Kellogg of Court street, who is ill with peritonitis, is slowing improving. ** -George J. Wardwell, who is ill with stomach trouble at his home on Grove street, is somewhat better. ** -W.H. Steele went to Albany on Monday to meet the body of his mother, Mrs. Frances M. Steele, who died in Chicago Sunday, aged 67. The funeral was held at Albany Wednesday. ** -E.G. Dyer of Salisbury has bought C.E. Weatherly's house and lot on Crescent St.; consideration $5,000. Mr. and Mrs. Weatherly are going to Bloomington, Ill., where they will reside.
