Rutland, Vt. Daily Herald--Mon. Apr. 12, 1909. POULTNEY, VT. 

Miss Margaret V. Owens of New York is the guest of her mother.

My great grand aunt, Margaret [Maggie] V. OWENS [1874-1964], was visiting her
mother, Elizabeth JONES OWENS [1832 Wales-1918] probably on York Street.  
Per censuses Margaret V. OWENS [number 9 of 9 children] lived in 1900 in Poultney,
Rutland, VT, with her mother;
was a grammar school teacher 
in 1920 and 1930 in New Rochelle, NY, and her cousin, Ada E. PHILLIPS [1885-1975]
was boarding with her also.  
I have a copy of Margaret's burial-transit permit from Fair Haven, VT, to Poultney
Cemetery in Poultney, VT, as well as her probate packet including will.
