All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/vt/vtfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Jan Jordan jnrose@webtv.net June 7, 2006, 6:47 am 1868 Vermont Methodist Conference Minutes.  Obit of Frederick Trenk Daly It said he was "..received on trial in the New Hampshire Conference, in 1830" and ordained in 1833.  "He located in 1839, but continued to preach, as he had opportunity, till 1851, when he was readmitted to the Vermont Conference."  It listed the many towns he served during his itinerancy, and said he retired in 1859.  It then said soon after he retired he "removed to the West, where he continued his labors as a minister of Jesus..."  It said his death was unexpected, as he died alone in his field, and that, "On the day of his funeral he had two appointments to preach and one to meet class."  It did say he died in Fulton Township, Muscatine County, Iowa, on April 2, 1868, aged 66 years.    The towns it lists are, "...Landaff and Bethlehem Circuits, in New Hampshire; Stockbridge, Northfield, Norwich and Hartford, East Barnard and Pomfret, Londonderry and Bondville, Bondville, Londonderry and Chester, Wilmington and Dover, in Vermont."
