(Listed under Plymouth, Pa.) FORMER RESIDENT DEAD. Word was received yesterday morning by Mrs. Owen Davis of Custer avenue, announcing the death of her sister, Mrs. John Humphreys, of Poultney, Vermont. Mrs. Humphreys died Wednesday night at her home. She was 54 years of age and well known here, having been a former resident of this town. She was is survived by three sisters living in Plymouth, Mrs. Owen Davis, Mrs. Esau Davis and Mrs. Isaac Reese, and one brother, William J. Morgans of Indiana Harbor, Ind. Funeral arrangements were not mentioned in the telegram. FUNERAL ANNOUNCEMENT. The remains of Mrs.Margaret Humphreys, a former resident of this place, who died at her home in Poultney, Vermont, will arrive in Wilkes-Barre at midnight to-night and will be taken to the home of her sister, Mrs. Owen Davis, 160 Centre avenue, from where the funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The services will be conducted by Rev.Samuel Whelding of the Welsh Congregational Church. Interment will be in Shawnee Cemetery. Additional Comments: Margaret Morgan(s), daughter of William & Elizabeth (?) Morgan(S), was born in Gelligaer, Glamorgan, Wales, 1870, Her father was a coal miner in Merthyr Tydfil Wales. The family came to Plymouth, Pa., about 1881, where William Morgan(s) worked in the coal mines. The above is her obituary , she died in Poultney, Vermont 7 Dec. 1921.
