Danby News 5-12-1910 Rutland, Vt. Weekly Herald
Jazamiah B. Nichols, 81 years of age, died May 1 of bronchial pneumonia. Mr. Nichols
was the son of Isaac and Abigail Nichols.   He went to California in the early gold
mining time and returning, married Sarah Boyce and was engaged in the mercantile
business for a number of years in Danby. Mr. Nichols is survived by his wife, a son
Jesse D., 2 grandchildren, Harold and Mary Nichols. A sister Jane and a brother L J.
also survive him. The funeral was largely attended.
