MRS. SARAH A. PARKER. Native of North Shrewsbury Dies at Home of Her Son in This City. Mrs. Sarah A. Parker, 69 years old, died of heart trouble yesterday morning at 2:30 o'clock at the residence of her son, Henry S. Parker of No. 66 South Min street. She had been critically ill for only three weeks, Mrs. Parker, the daughter of Isaiah P. and Naomi Pierce Russell was born in North Shrewsbury, VT.,September 22, 1841. She received her education in the schools of Shrewsbury and later taught in them. She was married to Stephen S. Parker in October 1862, and they moved to Rutland in September 1870. She had lived in her home on South Main street for over 40 years. Mr. Parker died in 1875. Besides her son with whom she lived, Mrs. Parker is survived by a daughter, Mrs. H. S. Martyn of Cuttingsville. The funeral will be held at the house tomorrow afternoon at 1 o'clock. The body will be placed in the vault at Evergreen cemetery.
