From RUTLAND [VT] DAILY HERALD--Mon. Dec. 10, 1923:

MARRIED 50 YEARS. 
Wednesday afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Rowland T. Williams celebrated the 50th anniversary
of their wedding. A banquet was servd to 70 guests, and the following program
rendered ; Remarks, Rev. J. Parry Jones ; presentation of purse, Thomas Rowlands,
Mr. and Mrs. Williams responding ; solo, Hazel Owens; African song, John A. Hughes ;
remarks by David Pritchard, Owen W. Jones, John M. Davies and Rees G. Williams ;
recitations , R. G. Jones, Gwen J. Jones ; solo, Miss Gwyneth Davies. The entire
affair was superintended by Stephen Thomas. Mr. and Mrs. Williams were married in
Wales, but moved to Granville about 40 years ago.
