Roxbury, Washington County, VT.
Served in Capt. Wheatly's Company, Col. Fifield's Regt. Detached Militia in U.S.
service 6 months, 1812. Volunteered to to go to Plattsburgh, [NY], September, 1814,
and served 8 days in Capt. Samuel M. Orcutt's Company. Ref: Book 52, AGO Page 250.

STATE OF VERMONT ROSTER OF SOLDIERS IN THE WAR OF 1812-14, prepared and published
under the direction of Herbert T. Johnson, The Adjutant General, 1933, pages 218 and
219.
