DEED: 1871 Nov. 18, Halifax Windham Co., VT, Vol. 13, p. 702 (FHL Film #2296829)
LEWIS S. STACY and his wife HENRIETTE STACY of Bernardston, Franklin Co., MA; REUBEN
W. STACY and his wife MARIA of Colrain, Franklin Co., MA; and RUFUS CROSIER and his
wife CHLOE A. and TIMOTHJY LARRABEE and his wife SUSAN C. and CHARLES L. STACY and
his wife LUCY, all of Halifax, conveys land to SOPHIA STACY of Halifax, via this
quit claim, for $5. Land is in Halifax, it being all the same premises deeded by
TIMOTHY LARRABEE to EBER STACY in a deed dated 11 Dec. 1850, containing 7-1/2 acres,
recorded in Vol. 10, p. 304. Also one other piece of land, being all and the same
premises deeded by ALMON BALLOU to said EBER STACY on 7 March 1853, containing about
2 acres, recorded in Vol. 10, p. 489. Also one other piece of land, being all and
the same premises deed by MARTIN SCOTT 2nd to said EBER STACY on 15 April 1865,
containing 17 acres, recorded in Vol. 13, p. 216-217. This deed conveys to the said
SOPHIA STACY all the real estate that was owned by the said EBER STACY at the time
of his death. Signed by L. S. Stacy, Etta S. Stacy (witnessed by S. N. Brooks,
George W. Brooks in Bernardston, Franklin Co., MA), Reuben W. Stacy, H. Maria Stacy
(witnessed by Orson B. Curtis in Colrain, MA?), Rufus Crosier, Chloe A. Crosier
(witnessed by J. L. Harrington, Kate Harrington in Halifax), Timothy Larrabee, Susan
H. Larrabee, Charles L. Stacy, Lucy L. Stacy (witnessed by L. M. Tucker, Fanny H.
Scott in Halifax).

My note: 
1st generation
Sophia SUMNER STACY [1799-1886] was my maternal 3 great grandmother.  She was
married on 1821 to Eber [Eben] STACY d. 1871 of Halifax, Vermont, and buried in
Whitneyville, VT, Cemetery.
2nd generation
Chloe Ann STACY [1830-1926] m. 1846 Rufus CROSIER.
3rd generation
Orval Henry CROSIER [1863-1900], etc.
