SOPER DIES. -------------------- Had Been Ill Three Years with Tuberculosis==Funeral in Jamaica Edgar K. Soper, 36, who had been ill with tuberculosis about three years, died in his home at 4 Estey street at 6:30 o'clock Saturday night. He was at the Pittsford sanatorium seven months, returning to his home here nearly two years ago. Born in Middle Falls, N.Y., July 30, 1887, he was a son of Frederick Leroy Soper and Julia (Soper) Soper. Most of his life was spent in Jamaica, where he followed farming and where he married Miss Alice Clark May 1, 1917. They came to Brattleboro to live about four years ago and as long as Mr. Soper was able to work he was employed in the repair department of the Wagner shoe store. He was a member of no organization. Besides his wife Mr. Soper leaves one daughter, Miss Leone Soper, who lives at home, also his mother, Mrs. Julia Soper, and two brothers, Kenneth R. Soper of Canal street and Leroy Soper of Vernon street. The funeral will be held at the Congregational church in Jamaica at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, Rev.
