NUTTON Daughter of Dr. amd Mrs. J.L. Rathbone Underwent Caesarian Operation in Hospital--Child Survives. Mrs. Agnes Leah (Rathbone) Nutton, 28, wife of Cedric V. Nutton, an employe of the Estey Organ Co., died at 8:15 o'clock this morning in the Memorial hospital, where she was taken late Saturday night and underwent a caesarian operation. Death was due to organic heart disease. She was the oldest of three daughters of Dr. amd Mrs. J.L. Rathbone and was born in Brattleboro May 6, 1896. She attended the graded schools and graduated from the Clawson-Hamilton business college, afterward taking a position as stenographer in the office of the Estey Organ Co. In October, 1920, she went to Nebraska to care for her sister, Miss Gladys Rathbone, who was ill there and with whom she remained eight months, or until the latter's death. She returned to Brattleboro with her sister's body and later re-entered the Estey offices. In the autumn of 1923 she married Cedrick Vincent Nutton. For a short time they lived in Rutland and then returned to Brattleboro. They have lived on Esterbrook street. Besides her husband Mrs. Nutton leaves her three-day-old son and her father and mother.
