HOWE DIES AT AGE OF 68 ------ Widow of Oscar Howe Had Lived at Home for Aged 14 Years-- Was Susan Plumb, Native of Halifax Mrs. Susan (Plumb) Howe, 95, widow of Oscar Howe, died at 8:15 o'clock last night at the Home for the Aged, where she had lived the past 14 years. Death resulted from the infirmities of age. She was born in Halifax April 21, 1829, a daughter of James and Lucina (Allen) Plumb. As a young woman she married Oscar Howe of Townshend. For many years he conducted a store in Halifax. Mr. Howe died more than 20 years ago. Mrs. Howe leaves no relatives nearer than nieces and nephews. Leslie Smith of Brattleboro and West Medford, Mass. is a nephew.
